Start of an implementation project of SAP ERP on the SAP HANA platform in Dielectric Cable Systems (DCS)

The SAP and DKS company, one of producers of the cable systems and the electropanel board equipment in Russia and Europe, announced in September, 2013 start of the project on implementation of integrated solution of SAP ERP on the SAP HANA platform in which control functions by business processes are combined with ample opportunities of a business intelligence. The SAP HANA platform will become a basis for support and development of the company from a segment of medium and small business, with large-scale plans for development and gaining the leading positions in the market.

Due to growth of volumes of business of DKS, increase in transparency, efficiency of management, creation of an effective management system for sale, purchases, production and finance the company management made the decision to pass to the new IT platform. As a result of comparison of different technologies a choice was made for benefit of SAP HANA. The partner of SAP in mechanical engineering and the authorized sales associate of SAP HANA – ASAP Consulting company became the contractor on implementation.

Key project task on SAP implementation of ERP is effective support of the business processes connected with the movement, accounting and control of material flows and assets (fixed assets), management of financial flows, purchases, production and sale of finished goods. It is expected that in a system more than 250 employees of DKS company will work. Further possibilities of the SAP solution HANA are going to be expanded due to implementation of add-on modules.
