System implementation "1C: Polygraphy 8" in Artfleks printing house

In Artfleks printing houses (St. Petersburg) the automation system of polygraphic production "is implemented by 1C: Polygraphy 8", at the enterprise 20 jobs are automated. Now on production job order account of products is kept. Availability of authentic data on the material consumption and labor costs allows to calculate actual cost by each executed order. It helped to develop effective measures for economy of materials and cost reduction of production, as a result the printing house reduced cost value of products and achieved increase in profit by 15%. Loading of the equipment is optimized, as a result production volume at the same capacities increased by 20%.

The Artfleks printing house specializes in printing of flexible packaging by a fleksopechata method. It is printed on polyethylene, polypropylene, a foil, on different plastics and other unabsorbed materials. The technical park of the enterprise consists of machines of flexographic printing, the industrial laminator, bobinorezalny machines. In printing house own design studio and workshop on production fleksoform works.

With increase in the nomenclature and outputs, in printing house there was a need to adjust accurate accounting, calculation and control of all orders coming to production. For rational management of economy of production it was necessary to obtain data on actual cost of each executed order. Besides, the printing house is included into Russian Meal holding, and it is required to provide it timely and quickly the reporting on results of the work to the management of holding.

For the solution of these tasks the automation system using which it would be possible to manage all production process, of date of transmission of materials in workshop before finished product output was required. At the same time a system had to consider industry specifics and it could be configured without big costs for features of work of flexographic production. Such opportunities are given "by 1C: Polygraphy 8" - the industry solution developed on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform. As the partner in automation the management of printing house selected Armex company, the developer of this solution.

A new system covered 20 jobs and allowed Artfleks to achieve the following results:

  • Calculation of orders is conducted taking into account specifics of flexographic printing when circulations are calculated not by quantity of prints or in printed pages, as at other types of printing now, and in kilograms or running meters. It not only is convenient, but also saves time for all services of the enterprise: the order of materials at suppliers, accounting of orders in production and calculations with customers are performed in the same units, it is not required to make recalculations of materials and products now.
  • The expanded analysis of cost value allowed to compare planned and actual cost of the executed orders to detailing on different items of expenditure. At the same time expenses can be analyzed as in cost, and in kind. As a result in printing house could develop measures of economy and reduce production costs that led to decrease in product cost by 4%. At the expense of competitive prices of products of sale grew by 10% within the first several months of work in "1C: Polygraphies 8".
  • Using "1C: Polygraphies 8" work of a warehouse is automated. Managers always have up-to-date data about the nomenclature and amount of materials in a warehouse of supplies. It allows to reserve them under the specific order in advance, without wasting time for purchase and delivery of required materials. As a result, time for processing and start of orders in production was reduced on average by 10%.
  • A system allows to trace a status of all orders on production in real time. Data on an order status are used as the tool at production planning: the responsible of printing house if necessary can change a priority of accomplishment of orders. It allows to optimize loading of the equipment. At the expense of it the printing house could increase by 20% production volume on available capacities.
  • Operational and managerial reports with necessary extent of detailing form much quicker. The management of management company of holding timely obtains all necessary information on activity of printing house.
