Ministry of social protection of the population of the Republic of Buryatia (VPN Projects)

The Rostelecom company by a victory in open auction signed the contract with the Ministry of social protection of the population of the Republic of Buryatia for rendering services in connection of ports for a communication fiber line in territorial subdivisions.

Within this project, 6 departments of the Ministry which are in the territory of Selenginsky, Kyakhta, Dzhidinsky, Zakamensky, Horinsky and Tarbagatai districts will be connected in uniform information VPN network. At the same time outdated copper communication lines are replaced with fiber-optical. All this will allow the ministry to reduce time and to increase service quality of citizens.

The protected telecommunication infrastructure for the Ministry of social protection of the population of Buryatia is constructed using VPN technology – the universal solution for the companies with geographically distributed structure allowing to create a uniform information field and to provide convenient management of corporate communications. All transmitted data are reliably protected, and capacity of communication channels can reach 100 Mbps.

"Document transfer via secure channels of VPN network many times quicker and more safely, than transfer of files by e-mail. Speed and security – important components of activity of any authorities which are especially busied with citizens", – the director of the Buryat branch of Rostelecom Ivan Belousov noted.
