RST-Cube

Specialists of RST-Invent company provided in the fall of 2013 one of the last developments – the RFID solution RST-Cube created for identification and effective accounting of jewelry.

The RST-Cube device is developed for specialists of the jewelry industry who regularly face problems of operational accounting of goods in the course of acceptance or shipment, faultless inventory of a trading floor and show-windows, competent distribution of jewelry by outlets. Earlier the solution of these tasks required considerable temporary and financial resources, however application of RFID systems promotes significant acceleration of these business processes today. The technology of identification of RFID allows to automate process of collection of information thanks to marking of goods RFID tags and to the subsequent reading of necessary data by means of special devices.

The RFID solution RST-Cube representing the antenna with the protective screen is capable to register once to 100 units of the goods marked by RFID tags, without resorting to packaging opening. Construction features of the device allow to make reading of information only from those goods which are placed directly in RST-Cube, excepting thereby accidental registration of the goods which are in close proximity to the device.

Jewelry is marked by RFID tags which are pasted on jewelry labels or built in inside at a production phase. Each RFID tag has the unique code which allows to identify unmistakably marked jewel among others similar that promotes quick search of products, tracking of their movements, exact inventory and sorting.

The Russian jewelry company Valtera which for the first time implemented RFID technology for accounting of jewelry in 2010 already managed to estimate economic effect of implementation of the last development of RST-Invent company. Specialists of Valtera use the provided RFID solution not only for the purpose of minimization of manual work in the course of inventory, but also for operational and exact acceptance and shipment of jewelry from a warehouse in retail boutiques which, today, there are more than 70.

Other feature of the RST-Cube device is the possibility of registration of RFID tags in the conditions of their dense placement or existence of metal parts and liquids as a part of the identified objects in this connection this device can be used also successfully in pharmaceutical industry.
