MTS develops a monitoring system of communication networks

NVision Group announced implementation in MTS of a monitoring system of network of a domestic long distance/international telecommunication and signaling network.

Specialists of NVision Group on the basis of an industrial monitoring system of Cisco Info Center, a complex of means for collection of information about events of IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus and also own developments on visualization created the solution which is integrated well with other software of the operator.

Consolidation with the umbrella OSS solution allowed to include monitoring of networks of "distant" communication and signaling in a single system. The project is implemented in short terms, all stages, from development before implementation, took 6 months.

"Addition of our control systems of network functioning with a longhaul monitoring system will help MTS to increase even more quality of the services provided to subscribers. A system performs continuous monitoring of stability of network functioning and transfers information on change of standard indicators in the online mode. It allows to react timely to a situation and in case of detection of threats of stability of work quickly to eliminate them", – Kirill Smolich, the director of the department of a domestic long distance and international telecommunication of MTS noted.
