Eurocement of groups (DPC projects of upgrade)

The Croc company, jointly with specialists from IBM, completed the project on creation of a data processing center in Evrotsement group.

Now 16 cement works are a part of group, the most part from them already uses the ERP system "Parus Enterprise 8". A main objective of the project on upgrade of IT infrastructure was creation of reserve computing powers as the platform for future projects of holding.

At the first stage of the project the model of load of components the ERP system was created and load tests of different servers and storage systems are carried out. Capacities of IBM laboratories were for this purpose involved in Moscow and Montpellier. Then the project of the computer system and the engineering systems of DPC with technical solution on upgrade of a core of corporate network was developed.

After equipment installation in the created DPC migration of information systems on a new hardware platform was executed. As reported, all works took only one day, and were performed taking into account high load of an information system (with the minimum downtime and in the period of low activity of users). At the same time all divisions of holding continued to operate normally.
