History

2025: Completion

The Hals-Development Group of Companies has completed the implementation of the project of the Nevskaya Town Hall public and business quarter in St. Petersburg. As part of the second stage of construction, the company received permission to commission the two final office buildings - 8 and 9. The total investment in the construction of the complex amounted to ₽31 billion. This was officially announced on April 10, 2025.

According to Kommersant, the total area of ​ ​ the introduced buildings was 66,617 square meters. m, including underground parking. The new business centers will provide 3,550 people with jobs. The facades of the buildings are designed in the style of modern classics and are built on a combination of glass and natural stone Dolomit Genaldon of the Russian deposit.

Building 8, 11 stories high, stands out for its elliptical shape. A feature of the 9 building with a height of 9 floors is the atrium with a glass roof and eight panoramic elevators, which creates a unique architectural solution within the business quarter.

The history of the project began in 2007, when the government of St. Petersburg announced a competition for the best project of the administrative complex. The victory in it was won by a consortium of workshops "Evgeny Gerasimov and Partners" and the SPEECH bureau led by Sergei Choban. The first residents "Nevskaya Town Hall" accepted in 2013.

A large-scale business cluster with an area of ​ ​ over 370 thousand square meters. m is located in the Central District of St. Petersburg on Degtyarnaya Street. The first stage includes three operating buildings with a total area of ​ ​ 174 thousand square meters. m. The main building houses 13 committees of the St. Petersburg administration, which emphasizes the importance of the facility for urban infrastructure.

The second stage of the Nevskaya Town Hall consists of five business centers with a total area of ​ ​ 146,099 square meters. m - 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 buildings. The project will be completely completed by the introduction of the 7th building, in which a four-star hotel is planned to open in 2027.^[1]
