In the Nevsky Town Hall business center the project of mobile communication is implemented

The press service of JSC Mobile TeleSystems announced on September 30, 2013 completion of construction of a modern system of radio communications for use in premises within the project on providing a new administrative and business complex of St. Petersburg with telecommunication services Nevsky Town hall.

Project Progress

"MTS became the first mobile operator which provided communication in Nevsky Town hall. The constructed indoor-system will provide a radio covering of networks 2G and 3G in the building and also will offer prospect of development of LTE — the equipment used at construction of a system is LTE ready — Dmitry Smirnov, the technical director of MTS "Northwest" noted. — In addition to the solution on providing high-quality mobile communication in buildings of MTS finishes construction of network of fixed connection on FTTB technology (Fiber to the Building is a fiber optic cable to the building). Thus, Nevsky Town hall will be provided with a full range of services of the fixed and mobile communication of MTS".

"The Nevsky Town hall" is a new business center of our city. Here seven business centers of class A, four-star hotel and the building of the Administration of Saint Petersburg to which more than 20 committees and managements will move will be located. Providing a qualitative radio covering in the building became one of important issues at the organization of a working space in the body of the center. The MTS company proposed to us modern technological solutions which completely conform to our requirements and requests of future tenants" — Irina Anisimova, the CEO of the Nevsky Town Hall project emphasized.

Specialists of operator constructed a modern indoor-system for the second and third body of Nevsky Town hall. On the individual project an active antenna-feeder system which operation principle is based on conversion of a radio signal of base stations of cellular communication to an optical signal, its transfer on optical fiber and inverse transformation to a radio signal is developed in premises of business centers. For the organization of such system in a business complex more than four kilometers of a radio cable, kilometer of a fiber-optic cable were laid and more than 160 directional antennas are installed. Communication should be provided in an underground parking between the second and third the body of a business complex.
