The Belarusian radio television transmitting center protects stations of transfer by uninterruptible power supply units

On October 1, 2013 Tempesto Ltd announced end of the joint project with Delta Electronics on protection against differences and lack of tension of the automated radio television transmitting stations (ARTPS) of the Belarusian radio television transmitting center (RUP "BRTPTs").

Project Objective

The most important condition of development of network of distribution of teleradio programs and maintenance of quality of the rendered services - steady functioning of all links of television network: from a television center to transmitting stations. As "BRTPTs" bears high responsibility for service quality of the state TV and radio broadcasting in the republic, for the company it is represented very important - to ensure continuous functioning of the automated transmitting stations, the last link in the television transferring network.

Project Progress

RUP "BRPTTs" attracted Tempesto company which together with Delta Electronics developed the special project on equipping of the stations existing and again put into operation by the systems of uninterrupted power to the solution of this task.

Within the project 15 sets in structure are set: uninterruptible power supply units of Delta Ultron H with a power of 20 kVA 3/3, two battery offices and rechargeable batteries with a capacity of 100 of Ach. The implemented complete solution guarantees steady operation of teletransmitting transceivers and also allows to prevent various risks of long equipment downtimes. Operating time of installed systems of a power supply in a standalone mode is 120 minutes at load rating of 15 kW.
