Volga Territorial Generation Company (Volga TGC) (DPC projects of upgrade)

The Open Technologies company (file) completed the project of creation of a data processing center for "Volga Territorial Generation Company".

Creation of DPC was caused by need to increase effective management of business processes of the power company due to creation of uniform information infrastructure. Capacities of the created center should provide full functioning and centralized operation directly from head office in Samara with all software packages used by the company and first of all - the automated control system for financial and economic activity of the enterprise based on the software of SAP. Therefore requirements to a hardware platform of a system were created by the experts of OXS company (file) keeping the project on SAP implementation of ERP.

The created data processing center represents the multifunction hardware and software system consisting of a server complex, a storage system, a backup system, means of placement and physical protection of the equipment, a monitoring system and access control, the system of gas fire extinguishing and smoke removal, a conditioning system and ventilation, the system of power supply and uninterrupted power supply.
