Atomflot continues a MRO implementation project - the next stage is completed

2014: Continuation of the project

On January 30, 2014 the NPP Spectec company announced end of the next stage of development of the information management system by maintenance and repairs (MRO) at the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Atomflot enterprise. The project is implemented on the TRIM platform and is in the operation mode since January, 2010.

A system is installed in a specialized repair and technology complex and was replenished with 8 new users.

For January 30, 2014 in information system MRO there are 134 users, about 40 thousand items of equipment. It is going to carry out in a system, on average, about 1 thousand works a month.

2013: Expansion of a management system of a MRO based on TRIM

Atomflot expands the information management system with maintenance and repairs, implemented on the basis of the software package TRIM. A system will in addition cover processes of a MRO of courts of atomic technology service and non-self-propelled rack courts. The first stage of the project was begun in September, 2008. It covered processes of a MRO of the operating ice breakers, and in terms of an organization structure – administration of the enterprise, a repair and technology complex and the atomic-powered vessels "Russia", Soviet Union, Yamal, "50 years of the Victory", Taimyr and Vaygach.

As a result of the new project 23 users in administration, a repair and technology complex and in courts will appear in addition. In particular, a ship part of an information system will cover vessels of atomic technology service – two floating technical bases "Imandra" and "Lotta", the Silver steel special tanker for liquid radioactive waste, the vessel of radiation control of "Growth-1" and also the only atomic Northern Sea Route light carrier in the world. Users of TRIM will also appear on the ice breakers taken out of service and which are in a sediment – Lenin, Arctic and Siberia.

Within the project it is necessary to supplement the database of a system with information on the equipment of each vessel, to create directories of spare parts, reference books of standard works, standard repair sheets, to enter historical data. It is also going to change architecture of an information system, having complemented with its seven remote nodes with the local databases synchronized with the central base by means of replications.

Now examination of processes of a MRO of courts of atomic technology service is conducted, the project documentation for the forthcoming works is developed, user training is conducted.
