Moscow. October 3. INTERFAX-TELECOM - JSC Rostelecom (MOEX: RTKM) announced request for proposals for purchase of the licensed software (S) of Microsoft company.

As stated in materials of the operator, the starting price of the agreement on providing right to use of software according to the program of licensing of Enterprise Agreement Subscription (EAS) Microsoft is 1.8 billion rubles.

The agreement assumes providing to Rostelecom the rights to use software of the American company for three years - from November 30, 2013 to November 30, 2016. Payment of the agreement will be made with payment by installments, according to the starting price annual payment should not exceed 600 thousand rubles, according to competitive procedures.

It is about prolongation of the existing license agreement on software of Microsoft, reported Interfax in the press service of Rostelecom.

A supplier of the current license is Sitronics (MOEX: SITR) (it is affiliated with AFK "Sistema" (MOEX: AFKS)). Its term expires on November 30.

Will accept requests from suppliers of the license for new term Rostelecom with till October 23, will carry out their consideration till October 30, and will define the winner for is later November 11, follows from the notification.

The participant of selection should have officially confirmed status of the Microsoft partner of Large Account Reseller (LAR) surely.

The transparency of purchases of software of Microsoft in Russia and some other countries became the investigation reason in the USA recently. In a case with Russia the anonymous informant in March of this year notified Microsoft that resellers of its software paid "rollbacks" to the management of state-controlled telecommunication company to receive the order, the The Wall Street Journal newspaper reported in August. The largest Russian operator controlled by the state, Rostelecom did not receive notifications on investigation, did not comment on information of WSJ.
