5-megapixel street IP cameras with an auto focus of SG-3C-1312

Sigrand (Novosibirsk) represents two new IP cameras with the resolution of 5 Mpk.

The first SG-1C-131 IP camera is continuation of a line of a series of 1C (the camera of standard execution) and essentially differs only in the new video sensor – Aptina MT9P006.

The second SG-3C-1312 IP camera based on the same sensor is the representative of the new 3C series (the camera of street execution).

In both IP cameras the unique technology which was already present at the previous [1] SG-1C-111 and SG-1C-121 models is applied. This use of an end-to-end power supply of Pass-Through PoE, and for the IP camera of a series 1C the possibility of use of the built-in SHDSL of the interface [2] (MC-1CH1) about a power supply of PoDSL or locally is provided (12 or 48 V). Different options of connection of IP cameras on long distance allow to receive such solutions and to cut down expenses on installation and to reduce the number of ports for connection of IP cameras. When using consecutive connection it is possible to connect up to 10 cameras at short distance and up to 5 cameras 100-meter segments to one Ethernet sweat. Connection through SHDSL allows to connect cameras on distance several kilometers with preserving of a band sufficient for FHD of quality.

SG-1C-131 and SG-3C-1312 support installation of additional WiFi of the module [3] (MC-1CW1) that will allow to use cameras in the traditional mode of connection as "client" or as "access point". The last feature will allow to unroll a video surveillance system using wire technology and PoE power supply and also in addition to cover an adjacent zone with a wireless network to which other WiFi of the IP camera or mobile devices can be connected. The cafe, hotels and different objects where it is required to ensure safety can be an example of such solutions and to provide additional service, for example services the Internet.

A series of 1C and "3C" have Micro SD slot supporting function of record for the SDHC, SDXC formats.

The SG-3C-1312 IP camera is the ready-made solution for street application with the broad temperature range-40... +50 °C. The built-in optics – 3 Mpk, 2.8-12 mm has the motorized zoom and a car focus that considerably simplifies setup with the broad range of angles of observation.

The SG-1C-131 IP camera allows to set replaceable CS-mount optics. Besides in addition microphone input and an exit and also RS 485/RS 232 port, alarm inputs and outputs has cameras of a series of 1C. For placement on the street for a series of 1C it is recommended to use PoE thermocasing with a LED searchlight [4] of SG-1H-I1 (IR) or [5] SG-1H-W1 (White).

For the organization of illumination for cameras of the 3C series it is going to develop an additional LED searchlight of PoE with a regulated power up to 20 W. For connection of a searchlight it will be possible to use Ethernet the interface of the camera "PoE Out" or the certain port [6] of the SG-1S or SG-17S switches.

Main Characteristics

Assembly
Structurally the IP camera is executed in the hermetic aluminum package, has a removable hood, is completed with hinged fastening. All cable connections are executed in the body.

Installation
The possibility of use only of an UTP cable increases convenience of installation and excludes need of use of an additional mounting box for sealing of cable connections.

Connection
Use "corporate" technologists of an end-to-end power supply of "Pass-Through PoE" allows to connect IP cameras consistently in a chain on one port Ethernet – to 10 pieces at short distance and up to 5 pieces when using 100-meter segments. Such method allows to vary flexibly placement of cameras, to considerably reduce costs for installation works and to save on PoE ports.

Settings
