The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia of the Orenburg region is connected to inter-chip digital links

On October 3, 2013 the Rostelecom company announced end, within the existing government contract on communication services, the project on connection OPATE (office and production automatic telephone exchange) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia of the Orenburg region to a public telephone network with providing 250 direct landline numbers.

Project Progress

For the organization of access to telephone services the Orenburg branch of Rostelecom performed a complex of installation and construction works: built fiber optic telecommunication network and connected UPATS in the territory of General Directorate of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia across the Orenburg region.

Project Results

The Ministries of Emergency Situations are available advantages of digital telephone communication: quality and connection speed, a connectivity of additional services, cost reduction on internal calls. Besides, department had a possibility of the organization of multichannel communication, accumulation of number of rooms and trunk lines in process of growth of requirements of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and flexible management by UPATS services (connection and shutdown of numbers, prohibition of long distance connections, detailing of telephone conversations).
