On October 4, 2013 CORUS Consulting Group started execution of works in the project of automation of a warehouse complex of the logistic group "Santens Service" using the Manhattan SCALE 2013 platform.
Project Tasks
Within a pilot project of automation of a new warehouse complex it is necessary to develop detailed requirements to a system taking into account the subsequent implementations, to provide system implementation, user training and WMS administrators. Further replication of a system is possible without involvement of IT integrator.
Project parts
Feature of the implemented project - other warehouses of logistic group "Santens Service" by the beginning of the project work under control of WMS. Taking into account the available operating experience of solutions of this class, among requirements to new WMS- characteristics are stated to a system: simplicity and flexibility of setup, possibility of independent deployment, configuration and support. As a result, the management "Santens Service" stopped the choice on WMS Manhattan SCALE 2013.

May 15, 2015. CORUS Consulting Group announced project completion on automation of warehouse complexes of the logistic group "Santens Service" based on Manhattan SCALE 2013.
The implementation project of WMS Manhattan SCALE in logistic company "Santens Service" started in September, 2013. At the time of the beginning of the project warehouses of the company already worked under control of a warehouse management system. The task of CORUS Consulting Group came down to replacement of earlier existing WMS system by Manhattan SCALE without stopping of a warehouse and minimum risks for operating activities of the company. Thanks to strict compliance of an implementation methodology and observance of the project plan, replacement of WMS happened to the minimum changes of processes that simplified adaptation of users to work with a new system.
Implementation of Manhattan SCALE created new opportunities for business development of the 3pl-operator: effective management of trade inventories of clients within one warehouse complex, increase in accuracy of accounting and with a possibility of a tight restriction of a framework of system logic and custom actions. Besides, the solution showed high rates of performance and fault tolerance that served as an incentive for emergence and implementation of the new business ideas within warehouse logistics. During the project training of staff of Santens Service in the principles of work and the WMS Manahattan SCALE setup was made. The flexibility of the parametriruyemy solution and existence of own command of support of Manhattan SCALE will allow Santens Service company to reduce significantly total cost of ownership a system in the future.
