The institute of UNIK takes out IT infrastructure in "cloud"

On October 7, 2013 the ActiveCloud by Softline company announced project completion on transfer in "cloud" of ActiveCloud by Softline of IT infrastructure of institute of UNIK.

Project Task

The main objective of institute of UNIK - to provide education to people who for various reasons cannot be trained in an internal or correspondence form. It is important for organization that students had a possibility of the round-the-clock online access to training programs that is the main advantage of institute in providing educational services.

The management of UNIK made the decision on implementation of the reliable and safe software solution which helped with the organization of permanent functioning of a system of distance learning.

Technical specialists of institute when choosing cloud provider made the decision on cooperation with ActiveCloud by Softline. The main objective set for the "cloud" contractor - the organization of the round-the-clock smooth operation of all IT infrastructure, operational copying of all changes made by users with an opportunity fast (no more than 15 min.) recovery of any of data segments.

Project Progress

After carrying out inspection of the existing IT infrastructure of institute specialists of ActiveCloud created the offer solving everything problems, critical for the client.

The farm of servers within CloudServer with SLA Premium service is unrolled. It allowed to provide to the customer a financial guarantee of availability of service of 99.95% and also consultations on licensing, functionality, configurations, settings, administrations of operating systems and system services.

For internal communications CRM is used. The system of reserve data storage is customized and technical support of the IT infrastructure which is taken out in "cloud" is provided.
