RSC Energia expands managerial EDMS

On October 8, 2013 the Asteros Consulting company announced functionality of a corporate system of electronic document management of Energiya Rocket and space corporation of S.P. Korolev expansion and improvement

Project Tasks

Paying close attention to modern technologies of operational management, the management of RSC Energia chose a command of Asteros Consulting for improvement of functionality of a corporate system of electronic document management according to new requirements of business.

The Corporate System of Electronic Document Management (CSEDM) worked at a basis of EMC Documentum technologies and managed the movement of agreements, orders, orders, etc. Such document types as the entering, outgoing and office correspondence did not enter a circuit of the solution. At the same time the territorial remoteness of head office RSC Energia in the Queen, production and administrative buildings significantly complicated delivery, increased risks of losses of documents and expenses on courier services. On this section the combined team of specialists of Asteros Consulting and RSC Energia began development of a system.

Project Progress

On the basis of the module EMC Captiva setup of stream scanning and recognition of the entering paper documents is carried out. The barcode allowing to identify easily documents automatically is appropriated to their electronic versions placed in EDMS. The solution is integrated with the systems of turnover of facsimile and the entering e-mail.

Project Results

For October 8, 2013 the new electronic document management system in corporation is used only for internal office-work. Users of a system are, generally leading and administrative personnel of corporation. In the future RSC Energia is going to pass to electronic document management with all external partners.
