Specialists of Energiya Rocket and space corporation provided in the summer of 2016 a project appearance of the Egyptsat-A spacecraft (S) created for the benefit of National agency on remote sensing of Earth of the Arab Republic of Egypt and designed century To a CAD system Creo.

"We created council of chief designers, discussed technical and production readiness of all organizations of cooperation for execution of works on creation of the Egyptsat-A spacecraft. Representatives of all organizations of cooperation confirmed that they are ready to development, production and delivery of components for the new spacecraft", - the chief designer of automatic space complexes and the systems of RSC Energia Igor FROLOV according to the results of the meeting which took place in Corporation with participation of representatives of Roskosmos Group, URSC and the enterprises of cooperation noted.

The Egyptsat-A spacecraft will have the improved tactical technical characteristics in comparison with the predecessor - KA of Egyptsat. Sputnik, in particular, will receive the improved optical-electronic systems and an onboard complex of management, the high-speed onboard radio line and solar batteries with the increased efficiency.

Application of the upgraded systems will expand possibilities of the spacecraft on corridor and vulgar shooting of the land surface, will increase shooting process performance, will increase the accuracy of a geobinding of pictures on a mountainous terrain of the area. At the same time the share of component parts of domestic production in Egyptsat-A will be significantly higher, than in Egyptsat.
