VTB Ukraine rents DPC

On October 9, 2013 the De Novo company and VTB Bank (Ukraine) announced the beginning of cooperation in the project of lease of engineering infrastructure of DPC.

Project Tasks

VTB Bank preferred lease of engineering infrastructure of DPC instead of construction of own data processing center.

Under control VTB Bank of 125 sales points in all areas of Ukraine and 9 information advice centers. The geographically distributed structure and development of bank impose special requirements to its IT component. In particular, to a data processing center which should have a sufficient stock of the area, opportunities for power supply and the heat sink for ensuring business needs for 3-5 summer perspective.

Delivered to construction of own TsOD bank in an alternative use of a data processing center in lease.

"The problem consists that precisely to foresee and plan the volume of computing powers which will be necessary for bank in 5 years very difficult — Maxim Ageev, the CEO of De Novo noted. — Therefore the companies are forced to build expensive data processing centers with a large supply which, however, can and it is not required because of new opportunities in the field of IT or changes in national economy. As a result, construction of own DPC forces the companies "earth" millions of hryvnias in literal sense".
