"Upgrade of Aviation Complexes" (M.A.K.) Windchill

Using Pro Technologies the Modernization Aviatsionnykh Kompleksov LLC enterprise (M.A.K.) completed the next stage of automation of design-technology preparation of production. It is implemented [the project of integration of a product lifecycle management system of "Windchill" (PLM system) and "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" (1S:UPP).] Earlier also using Pro Technologies company the company "M.A.K." provided the designers to a modern CAD of "Creo" and solved a problem of storage of design data in a common information space using the Windchill system.

For successful project implementation specialists of Pro Technologies timely defined need of upgrade of the existing technology of product development at the enterprise.

In particular, need of use of uniform corporate reference books was proved: materials and ranges, the standard and normalized parts (SIND library). Earlier, materials were specified by the designer in CAD model just as line value, and approaches of specialists to use of SIND library required adjustment.

Also need of formation of production and technology structures of products according to GOST 2.053-2006 was revealed.

As a result of work information transfer terms about products from the Windchill system in a 1C system were significantly reduced: Management of manufacturing plants, with a complete elimination of a so-called "human factor" – information input errors in 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management.

It is provided as a possibility completely of automatic data exchange according to design-technology documentation, and unloading of data from a PLM system at the request of the user – the system administrator. At the same time the version control (dynamism) of specifications and process charts in a 1C system is saved: Management of manufacturing plants and also the base for implementation of the automated planned daily production planning at the enterprise is prepared.

Project implementation was enabled in several stages: 1. Creation of the corporate reference book of materials and ranges. Integration with Creo, Windchill PDMLink and Windchill MPMLink. 2. Audit and a regulation of work with library of the standard and normalized parts (SIND). 3. Implementation of basic elements of maintaining production and technology structures of products and design of technology processes using Windchill MPMLink. 4. Development of program components on integration of the Reference Book of Materials and Ranges systems, Creo, Windchill, 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management. 5. Pilot project. 6. Trial operation.
