On October 15, 2013 the NEC corporation announced the choice by MegaFon company in the project of deployment of an end-to-end system of operational support (OSS) NetCracker of partners "NEC Neva communications Sistemy" and NetCracker Technology.
Project Tasks
"NEC Neva" and NetCracker implement the Network Resource Inventory project within an initiative of MegaFon of deployment of the uniform control center. A project objective - consolidation of separate databases and the organization of centralized operation by network infrastructure of branches.
Project Plans
For "MegaFon" were a part of the solution OSS- products NetCracker: "Accounting of resources", "Linearly - cable constructions", "Updating of data", "Planning and design of networks", Order management, "Information management about services", "Accounting of services" and "Activation of services".
It is expected that the listed products will help MegaFon to optimize processes of representation and ensuring quality of services for a retail segment, to increase efficiency of representation of corporate services of fixed connection and broadband Internet access. Also the customer expects to optimize operational processes due to reduction of time and efforts to management of network resources.
