Morsvyazsputnik (Etla (e-document flow))

THE FGUP MORSVIAZSPUTNIK PASSES TO EDMS ETLA.

The Atlas Soft company implements EDMS ETLA in the Federal State Unitary Enterprise (FSUE) Morsvyazsputnik which performs functions of authorized organization for creation and functioning in the Russian Federation of the Global sea communication system at disasters and for security (GMSSB). During implementation it is going to automate work of the entering and outgoing documentation.

In search of an optimal solution specialists of Morsvyazsputnik carried out market research and examined experience of implementation of workflow systems at other enterprises. Reliability, scalability, functionality of a system and also a possibility of fast and easy setup of a system under internal business processes were the main selection terms. Among a large number of developments in the field of EDMS the ETLA system provided by Atlas Soft company proved to be as the most appropriate solution.

The Federal State Unitary Enterprise (FSUE) "Morsvyazsputnik" is formed in 1976 as All-union association of electroradio navigation and satellite communication at the Ministry of navy of the USSR according to the resolution of Council of Ministers of the USSR for the purpose of ensuring operation of the Soviet and international artificial Earth satellites for the benefit of providing services of satellite communication to merchant ships and navigation and for ensuring participation of the USSR in the International organization of sea satellite communication of Inmarsat.

According to obligations of the Russian Federation under the International convention on protection of human life at the sea of 1974 (SOLAS 74), the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of 7/3/1997 No. 813 and at the request of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation FGUP Morsviazsputnik performed functions of authorized organization for creation and functioning in the Russian Federation of the Global sea communication system at disaster and for security (GMSSB) and made a real contribution to accomplishment of this important national objective.

Today the FGUP Morsviazsputnik is under authority of Federal Agency of Sea River Transport. The enterprise is included in the list of the strategic enterprises according to the Decree of the Russian President of 8/4/2004 No. 1009.
