On October 21, 2013 the Armex integrator announced implementation in software Alioth company "to 1C: Polygraphy 8". 45 jobs are automated.
Project Task
With business development of production capacities there was insufficiently for accomplishment of the increased order amount. The information system which allowed to plan production taking into account available capacities and specific orders was required for the enterprise, would help to optimize loading of the equipment, to accelerate accomplishment of orders.
The company management was going to carry out detailed cost analysis, to reveal reserves of decrease in production costs and to create more competitive prices. A new system should provide exact calculation of planned and actual cost that, in turn, is impossible without regulation of production costs. Status monitoring of a warehouse and minimization of a commodity remaining balance - one more task which needed to be solved at automation system implementation. Also it was necessary to increase the level of service: to create commercial offers quicker and more quickly to inform clients on implementation phase of their order.
The most suitable for the solution of these tasks found the software product in the company "1C: Polygraphy 8". The solution designer - Armex company became the partner in implementation.
Project Progress
Implementation is carried out within eight months. In Alioth company automated management of sales, purchases, production and a warehouse.
Project Results
- The quality of production planning taking into account utilization of capacity and current orders increased.
- The planning horizon increased since one-two weeks to 1.5 - 2 months. It allowed to optimize loading of the equipment and to reduce the probability of emergence of idle times. As a result the speed of accomplishment of orders increased, and the release of plastic cards on the same equipment increased for half a year by 17%.
- There was an opportunity to control accomplishment of orders on each production stage. Now managers can quickly inform customers on degree of readiness of orders that increases trust and a customer loyalty.
- Regulation of all production processes provided to the company a possibility of automatic calculation of preliminary cost value of each order. As a result time for formation of commercial offers to clients is significantly reduced. Also a system allowed to make exact calculation of actual cost of orders and operational carrying out plan-fact cost analysis. It helped to develop measures of economy and to reduce production costs by 5%. Reduction of production costs and increase in production volume of products helped to build effective price policy and to offer clients competitive prices.
- Automation of accounting in a warehouse allowed to trace a holiday of supplies in production and always to have up-to-date data about their existence. It allowed to arrange work of a warehouse: now materials are reserved under the specific order, their remaining balance does not exceed reserves, necessary for the company, time is saved on order placement at suppliers and their delivery.
