Samsonite upgrades an accounting system

The Homnet Consulting integrator begins an implementation project of an automated system on a technology platform of 1C:Enterprise 8 and the software product "Homnet: IFRS" in the Russian representative office of the international company Samsonite, the press service of integrator reported on June 18, 2013.

Project Tasks

Samsonayt addressed to Homnet Consulting for the project of automation of the international accounting in the enterprise on the platform "Homnet: IFRS".

Earlier the staff of Samsonayt kept account according to IFRS in spreadsheets of the MS Excel. Basis for making decision on implementation "Homnet: IFRS" - need of reduction of time and quality improvement of preparation of the reporting and data for loading in a corporate system of Hyperion.

Project Plans

"Homnet: The IFRS" will help the company to keep parallel account of business activities according to international standards of the reporting on the basis of the Russian financial accounting (RAS).

Project Progress

The tasks solved during the project:

• formation of the necessary block of reports on IFRS (balance, profit and loss statement, etc.)
• automation of unloading of the monthly reporting under IFRS in head office in Belgium (integration with a corporate system of Hyperion)
• automation of charge of reserves according to IFRS
• parallel fixed asset accounting and intangible assets
• accounting net revenues by nomenclature positions
• accounting of revenue by sales channels (wholesale, retail, e-commerce)

For June 18, 2013 employees Homnet Consulting conduct design and system development on the platform "Homnet: IFRS".

Project Completion

On October 28, 2013 the Homnet Consulting company announced system deployment project completion "to Homnet: IFRS" and its start in operation.

Project Progress

During the project specialists Homnet Consulting:

• created the necessary block of reports on IFRS (balance, the profit and loss statement);
• automated unloadings of the monthly reporting under IFRS in head office in Belgium;
• automated charge of reserves according to IFRS;
• configured parallel accounting of OS and intangible assets, accounting net by nomenclature positions and accounting of revenue by sales channels (wholesale, retail, e-commerce).

5 jobs are automated.

Continuation of the project

On February 19, 2014 the Homnet Consulting company announced continuation of the project which purpose of a new stage was a completion of the existing system: setup of mechanisms of data exchange of the systems "Trade managements" and "Homnet: IFRS", and also ensuring correct filling of the report Purchase ledger for 2013.

The tasks solved by the project:

• Processing on editing these closed periods is created;
• The document "Payment order" is finished, rules of exchange between "1C: Trade Management" and "1C: Enterprise Accounting" are changed;
• Rules of exchange for correct closing of settlement are changed.

With implementation of this stage of the project the company had an instrument of correction of data in the closed periods, migration of the payment order from Trade management in Enterprise accounting became possible.
