SmartStation

SmartStation - the new multibrand software of the Smartec trademark is intended for the organization of video surveillance systems of any scale and complexity, including geographically distributed, with service to 32 IP devices on one server.

Compatibility

The software product works on the PC with OS Windows, Linux and MAC, with encoders and IP cameras with the resolution up to 10 megapixels, allows to conduct IP-video surveillance using the video analytics which is built in cameras.

Features

Thanks to the intuitive interface of the program, users have no difficulties with setup of the IP equipment, conducting the current video control and record of video, tracking of events of alarm, manipulation of PTZ cameras and management of a videoarchive. Besides, SmartStation provides access to settings and video via the Web interface and free client applications for tablet PCs and smartphones and also supports API for its integration with other security systems of an object.

In SmartStation all necessary functions for full-fledged management of a multibrand IP system are implemented, modern codecs up to H.264 High Profile are supported, interactive graphic maps of an object and "the master of fast start".

• SmartStation supports video analytics of VCA which is used in the IP cameras Smartec, GANZ and other producers.
• New software allows to involve more than ten different filters of video analytics, including fixing of emergence or disappearance of objects in the sector of video filming, intersection by people (motor transport) of virtual borders, changes of speed and the direction of the movement of different objects, etc.

The product line of software of SmartStation was filled up by the full-function client version for tablets and smartphones on the platforms Android, IOS, BlackBerry, Symbian, WinPhone, etc. which is provided free of charge. The new program for IP cameras provides connection to unlimited number of the SmartStation servers, and to several at the same time, any choice of channels for watching video in fully - or the multiscreen mode and with different settings of permission and quality and also provides access to live/archive video from any IP cameras of a video surveillance system. Besides, the SmartStation Mobile Client program allows to take instant pictures in one click, to perform convenient search of video fragments in archive using a time line, to listen to the sound synchronized with a video series, etc. Setup of permission of images from the mobile client of SmartStation is performed simply and conveniently using the Hi/Low icon on the screen which allows to select quality of video between High Resolution and Low Resolution, respectively. For compatibility with the modern IP equipment the program for IP cameras can accept video in one of three video codecs — H.264 (Baseline profile), MPEG-4 or M-JPEG, and not only current, but also archive. It is possible to scale image fragments from IP cameras also easily thanks to opportunities of the touch screen of the mobile device.

Work of mobile application of the SmartStation program is possible in the mode of configuring (Configuration Mode) for adding and removal of servers and in browse mode (Viewer Mode) for setup of templates of display of video from the set surveillance cameras. At the same time the new program for IP cameras is intended for remote watching the current video, search of the video fragments interesting the user in archive and their reproduction. Unlike many similar products, mobile version of SmartStation provides a possibility of simultaneous connection to several servers for access to bigger number of the IP cameras involved in a video surveillance system.

The output of the current video to the screen of the mobile device can be performed in the full-screen or multiscreen mode (to 4 channels at the same time), and each segment of a multiscreen template of the program is universal that it was possible to add not only video, but also instant pictures, plans, data of the event log to it, etc. At the same time the program for IP cameras is capable to generate information on all IP devices available at the moment in the form of the list which is displayed through the menu. In the SmartStation software Live mode allows to do freeze frames in one click using the special button on the screen, and for remote search and viewing videos from IP cameras displays a time scale, convenient for such tasks.

Along with wide functionality, SmartStation Mobile Client has the most convenient and the intuitive interface of the user. In particular, after a call of the main menu of the program information on the connected servers, IP cameras, service data, etc. opens. For example, the user can select browse modes of video from the section of Setup and also set blocking of phone at reproduction of the image. From the section Information the program for IP cameras allows to pass to the website SmartStation on which data on the current version of software for IP cameras, available updates and expansion of functionality are regularly updated.

Competitive advantage of the new "mobile" SmartStation program is the playback capability not only video, but also the sound synchronized with it with a high accuracy as in real time, and from archive. As the program for IP cameras is intended for professional video systems, it supports work with the main set of modern audio of codecs. The user decides watch video with a sound or without it, and shutdown/inclusion of a sound from IP cameras is executed in one click through an interface of the application of SmartStation Mobile Client that is very convenient.

SmartStation uses the open API platform therefore the video surveillance system on its platform can be integrated with other security systems, for example, with a control system of access and a time recording, etc.

Work with archives

Access to archive and live video of a video surveillance system on the SmartStation platform is possible from mobile devices on OS Android iOS Blackberry, Symbian and Windows Phone, through client mobile applications which are provided for users of major version of software free of charge. From tablet PCs, the CPC and smartphones on which mobile application of SmartStation is installed the unlimited number of connections to remote servers is allowed, but at the same time IP video surveillance is differentiated between users access rights. Besides, to assess the current situation on an object and it is possible to browse archive files via the Internet, using different web browsers.
