History
2021
In 2021, the urban-type settlement Harp from the Ural region was again reassigned to the city of district significance Labytnangi and included in the urban district of the city of Labytnangi.[1]
2007
1868 - as the year of foundation of the settlement on the territory of the modern city of Labytnangi was officially approved by the deputies of the City Duma in May 2007. Until that moment, Labytnangi counted its chronicle from 1975, when by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR, the working village was transformed into a city of district subordination.
1868
The first mention of the Labytnangs dates back to 1868. In the documents of the branch of the State Archive of the Tyumen Region of Tobolsk, in the book of the Central Statistical Committee "List of Populated Places According to 1868" it appears: "Settlement at the Vyl-Sel channel, three yards, 20 men, 18 women."
