Andover Continuum is the complex integrated security system constructed on modern standards and IT technologies.
On October 29, 2013 the Schneider Electric company announced start in Russia Andover Continuum security systems.
"Our integrated approach integrating everything - from video surveillance before access control and detection of unauthorized invasion - provides more complete and uniform understanding of security of the modern building. Andover Continuum is the checked and effective complete solution for a wide range of projects", – Mikhail Shakarov, the manager in the Security systems direction of Schneider Electric in Russia noted.
The solution helps to create reports on any events, with detailing to specific access point that will allow to reveal more effectively "narrow" places in a security system or to quickly detect and repair the failed equipment. Besides, it is possible to export data to other accounting systems, tracing, for example, the exact time of presence of employees in different premises.
Andover Continuum relies on different industry standards, is easily integrated with other business systems, forming complete and single solution. Expanded safety features, including, fast blocking of a zone at detection of potential threat, automatic adjustment of access rights at change of conditions or the threats level, function of "critical security", smooth integration with management systems for identification and access according to cards of a different format are built in the Andover Continuum system.
The protected encoded communication of Andover Continuum offers several functions for increase in safety of communication, including: protection of the internet protocol (IPsec) with the exchange protocol Internet keys (IKE) for providing confidential secure communication between controllers and Andover Continuum workstations and also the protocol of safe connections (SSL) for secure communication on the Internet. The structure of Andover Continuum also includes support of SNMP, expanded enciphering and other important functions for corporate network.
The management system for the building of Andover Continuum was from the very beginning developed as a monitoring system and security managements and automation of buildings and constructions. Consolidation of management of access control, a security system, video surveillance and automation in a single system reduces the number of the required equipment and wiring that as a result leads to considerable reduction in cost of a system and its service.

2015: The Andover Continuum system with the color Magelis panel is released
On April 9, 2015 the Schneider Electric company presented integrated solution in the field of security for management of access control and a security alarm of Andover Continuum, together with the color touchpad of management Magelis.
By means of the Magelis panel the solution for more convenient, modern and simple system management of security on objects with a flexible possibility of functions of setting and removal from protection of different premises on an object, remote viewing a status of zones and points, other functions is created.

Connection to a system and management happens under the modern Modbus IP protocol. For April 9, 2015 the integrated solution of Andover Continuum helps to integrate management of different security subsystems on an object:
- access control system,
- video surveillances of PELCO by Schneider Electric
- security alarm,
- the fire warning ESMI – on the basis of the uniform integrated hardware and software system CyberStation 2.0
and a possibility of the organization of a large number of jobs of operators, remote local control by means of self-produced modern color Magelis touch displays.
