SUE VTsKP buys firewalls of the corporate level

On November 6, 2013 the Altel company announced delivery of six firewalls of the corporate level of ALTELL NEO 310 UTM to the St. Petersburg state unitary enterprise "Computer Center of Collective Use of a Diversified Complex of Housing" (SUE VTsKP). Delivery was performed by LINCAS company.

Project Progress

For ensuring reliable defense of perimeter of network and the data transferred between technology platforms SUE VTsKP, IT specialists of the enterprise made the decision to upgrade the existing network infrastructure. The main requirements imposed to the new equipment became: reliability, an opportunity to work in the mode of hot swap and capacity are not lower than 2 Gbps on the canal. After testing of several firewalls of the famous producers, it is revealed - only ALTELL NEO firewalls conform to similar requirements.

All ALTELL NEO models have FSTEC certificates and conform to requirements imposed to firewalls on classes of security ME2/ME3/ME4 and levels of lack of not declared NDV2/NDV3 opportunities.

The ALTELL NEO 310 model belongs to the senior series of devices and is intended for protection of the large organizations and the headquarters of geographically distributed holdings with the state about 1,000 people. ALTELL NEO 310 can use up to 20 RJ45 GbE interfaces, up to 16 interfaces of SFP GbE or up to 4 interfaces of SFP+ 10 GbE (using two expansion units). In addition the device can be equipped with two QDR InfiniBand interfaces or E1/T1. Performance of ALTELL NEO 310 allows to filter traffic at a speed up to 13.5 Gbps.
