Rolf signed with HP the five-year agreement on management of server and network framework

The retail division of ROLF and HP company, signed the five-year agreement according to which HP will manage a network and server framework of the company in November, 2013. The signed agreement will allow to improve efficiency of all divisions of ROLF, and to department of IT to focus on important strategic tasks and new services for business.

In connection therewith the agreement specialists of division of HP of Enterprise Services will perform regeneration, transformation, and then and support of server and network framework of the customer within the next five years. Besides, HP will perform consolidation and standardization of all administrative functions of IT department of Rolf using the ITIL solution based on methodology which core is the system of HP Service Manager. Processes and technologies of system administration will be automated and standardized that will allow to provide the most effective business.

I will notice that among other vendors could only guarantee to HP complex delivery of servers necessary for us, network systems, software products and services as uniform producer".

Among the planned conversions — replacement of the obsolete equipment of Cisco working in ROLF network by 200 Networking HP devices. Besides, implementation of the convergent infrastructure of HP consisting of about 250 virtualized HP servers of Proliant and storage systems of HP 3PAR of StoreServ united in clusters of high readiness is planned. As the infrastructure constructed using HP solutions is based on open industry standards, it can be integrated easily with the existing IT environment of ROLF thanks to what migration will be simple.
