Intervale implements technology of prevention of fraud

On November 14, 2013 the Intervale group announced implementation of the unique antifraud-solution for monitoring, identification and prevention of fraudulent transactions. The Compass Plus company acted as the supplier of the solution.

Project Tasks

The project is performed within certification of own processing center of Smartkardlink on obtaining the status MSP TPP in MasterCard payment system.

Crucial element of the solution - TranzWare Fraud Analyzer – the software product making multiple factor analysis of transaction and event flows and effective identification of risky transactions on the basis of the rules set by the user of a system. The uniqueness of the project consists that, in addition to the software license, the vendor provides to the customer a solution hosting: the TranzWare Fraud Analyzer system is installed on servers of a processing center Compass Plus.

Project Progress

Specialists Compass Plus provide professional support of infrastructure of the solution, including maintenance of a hardware platform, administration of the system software and DBMS Oracle, control of telecommunication resources and security aids, updating of applications. Such approach combining models SaaS and IaaS, allowed Intervale to reduce considerably costs for initial implementation (in comparison with deployment of in - house - a system) and also to optimize operating costs without loss to the available user of functionality.

Within the project specifications of protocols and a development tool by means of which specialists of Intervale implemented mechanisms package and online interactions of internal information systems with TranzWare Fraud Analyzer are transferred to the customer. Remote access to a system allows the staff of the company to execute full applied administration of a system: development and deployment of rules of monitoring of transactions, setup of technology procedures and business processes of investigation of suspicious transactions. The developed mechanism of management of access rights gives an opportunity of flexible configuration of jobs for operators, security officers, supervisors and other participants of fight against fraud.

The capacities of a processing center of Compass Plus supported with functionality of the product TranzWare Fraud Analyzer put a considerable stock of performance of the outsourcing antifraud-solution. The company is ready to provide repeated increase of transaction load of a system: quickly, "is transparent" also without the additional capital investments of the customer.
