Endowment fund (endowment)

The endowment fund (from engl. endowment, a deposit, donation, talent) (or fund of the target capital) is a new effective instrument of financing Russian science and education. It forms due to donations which investment income goes to the charitable purposes (grants, grants, research activity, permanent professorial rates, etc.). Hospitals, the museums, theaters, libraries and other non-profit organizations can also be receivers of means.
