"LIRA" automates trade

On November 15, 2013 1C Company: Announced the first BIT project completion of carrying out upgrade of the automation equipment in LIRA shop.

Project Tasks

Business of "LIRA" began as shop of countertop type, with a large number of trade positions of different orientation from food to household chemicals. Accounting was conducted by means of the self-written program. There were difficulties with systematization of information, creation of the range of goods, carrying out inventory.

Having begun process of optimization of the company, owners set the tasks: transform business from shop of countertop type to modern shop with the convenient system of self-service; optimize work of a warehouse.

Project Progress

Specialists of The First BIT company carried out the analysis of outlet and developed the project of "turnkey" automation. Executed measurements of premises, planned arrangement of a retail and electronic equipment, revised programs for trade implementation. Cash boxes ordered according to special sketches in view of the fact that there was a need to place in them the built-in METROLOGIC MS7625 "Horison" scanners. Automation was executed in 2 weeks.

At the first stage of the project the shop was equipped with refrigerating appliances. In a warehouse set a data collection terminal of Pidion 5200, on points of sale — the Supermarket ForPOSt POS systems. At the checkout delivered scanners of a barcode of SYMBOL LS 1203 and control scales of CAS AP-15M. Specialists of First BIT implemented the discount system of discounts.

In shop the system of self-service is organized. By means of C 15-2.5 Shtrikh-PRINT complexes D2(n), v.4, Self-Service buyers independently weigh weight goods and print price labels. It significantly reduces queues and accelerates payment process of purchases at the checkout.

In a zone of cookery the small buffet where visitors can have a bite or taste products is organized.

All goods of supermarket are reliably protected by means of the anti-theft equipment: AM akustomagnitny bottle sensors, akustomagnitny contactless deactivators of AMB 2011. At the exit an anti-theft framework of Sensomatic Ultra Shield is set.

Business processes are simulated:

• separation of basic transactions of trade and warehouse accounting (arrival, expense) on areas of responsibility;
• simultaneous accounting in the sales prices and at cost;
• goods marking;
• work with the prices and nomenclature of suppliers;
• accounting of turnover of alcoholic products with formation of quarter and annual declarations;
• work with exceeding and elimination of regrading;
• pricing;
• settlement (it is possible to conduct by stock count documents and/or agreements, at payment transactions the remaining balance on settlement is controlled);
• accounting of transactions of collection;
• inventory.
