As of 2013, in separate department in the company operation of a real estate is selected.

History

2013: Payment of 600 thousand rub of Autodesk and Microsoft for use of the pirated software

In 2013 Autodesk began to sue out property attachments and funds of Federalstroygroup for the amount of 6.5 million rubles which the company in the claim, joint with Microsoft, requires to pay for violation of the copyright.

According to the results of the first consideration of a request for a seizure of property in October, 2013 the court took out failure. Concerning it Autodesk filed the petition for appeal which consideration should take place in December.

The anti-counterfeiting association BSA giving legal support to owners told TAdviser that initially the sum in dispute to Federalstroygroup made about 3.1 million rubles, but afterwards it was increased. It is connected with the fact that the original action was submitted only on the basis of information which was contained in the notification of police, and results of a research of the withdrawn computer equipment were received later. With respect thereto claim requirements were specified - increased according to the number of the software revealed during the research, explain in BSA. What was found software of Autodesk on the computers withdrawn from firm, in association did not specify.

Autodesk asked to arrest property of Federalstroygroup as a measure for providing the claim, motivating need of it with the fact that the amount of authorized capital of Federalstroygroup is only 10 thousand rubles, i.e. - has symbolical character that can complicate or make impossible execution of the court ruling.

The court of first instance motivated the failure in the satisfaction of this petition, having referred to the fact that in case of the satisfaction of the claim, execution of court's decision will be provided with "force of the state", namely – "the procedure of forced performance of the judicial act, obligatory for the parties".

At this time the amount demanded from Federalstroygroup in the joint action of Autodesk and Microsoft for copyright violation is one of the largest for the last several years: so, according to BSA, as of 2013 the largest amount which Autodesk collected from the violator in Russia is about 6.8 million rubles. The company seized the last in 2010 from Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rostekhinventarization-Federalnoye BTI for use of non-licensed AutoCAD.

In December, 2013 the court approved the settlement agreement according to which Autodesk and Microsoft had to pay to Federalstroygroup immediate compensation for copyright violation in the general size of 600,000 rubles.
