By October, 2014.The Committee on IT and Communication of St. Petersburg is going to start the modeling complex which will allow to estimate and predict needs of the city for foreign labor power for attraction it on places, "which cannot be substituted by the Russian citizens".
Will be engaged in project implementation "Forecast". The company told TAdviser that its solution "Forecasting of Need for Qualified Personnel" implemented on BI- the platform will be taken as a basis Prognoz Platform.
The modeling complex will function as a part of the integrated system of information and analytical ensuring activity of local executive authorities (IC IAO) which is already operating in St. Petersburg in which, in turn, the system of forecasting and data analysis based on software of SAS is used.
As it appears from the published project documentation, for creation of the modeling complex of assessment and forecasting of needs of St. Petersburg for guest workers it is necessary to solve several problems, one of which is formation of a system of the indicators characterizing as the general situation with labor migration, and from foreign. It will also be necessary to provide a possibility of loading and updating of these data in IC IAO storage.
The original informatin, necessary for work of a complex, will arrive from different sources, such as Rosstat and its territorial authority across St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region and also from databases of city executive authorities.
The list of tasks also includes development of the mathematical model formalizing basic processes in the field of labor migration in St. Petersburg and allowing to create the forecast of need for foreign workers and the changes of social and economic loading caused by involvement of labor migrants.
Results of forecasting of need of St. Petersburg for attraction of foreign labor power can be visualized in the IC IAO in the form of operational text and graphical representation.
