On November 22, 2013 the Mobile TeleSystems company announced end of the next stage of project implementation of remote monitoring of consumption of thermal and electrical energy for Yoshkar-Ola CHPP-1 Municipal Unitary Enterprise within the program of increase in energy efficiency of housing and communal services of the Republic of Mari El.
Project Progress
By November, 2013 SIM cards of MTS equip 380 transformer substations, 23 distribution points, 15 boiler houses, more than 100 nodes of thermal energy and more than 20 subjects to street lighting entering infrastructure of the Yoshkar-Ola CHPP-1.
Data on heat rate and the electric power, the current loads of networks and the equipment via secure channels of communication of MTS in real time come to a monitoring system of the organization.
Project Results
Implementation of telematic services helps the Yoshkar-Ola CHPP-1 to carry out collection of information about technical parameters and a condition of equipment, to react quickly at emergence of emergency situations or in case of failure in system operation. Data retrieveds help the staff of the company to reveal losses, to plan and hold energy saving events.
"Implementation of modern telecommunication services will allow us to make gradually our work the most transparent including for the end consumer. Today we already made the first steps in this direction, optimizing own business processes, further we are going to expand a monitoring system and to reach qualitatively new level of energy efficiency", - Igor Bondarchuk, the director of Yoshkar-Ola CHPP-1 Municipal Unitary Enterprise noted.
