The Ministry of Education of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic implements the educational program of distance learning

On November 25, 2013 the SPIRIT company announced successful use of the software product for multipoint web video conferences of VideoMost in the comprehensive educational program in the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic.

Project Tasks

The program of remote education assumes selection of one basic school and several schools satellites. Using modern technical means of audiovisual communications classes of schools satellites which pupils have an opportunity remotely to be present at lessons at basic school are connected to the equipped class of basic school.

For implementation of the educational program the product for carrying out multipoint web video conferences, capable to work most steadily on the unstable IP channels characteristic of many regions of Russia was required. In preliminary testing did not cope with this task, neither other solutions for a video conferencing, nor software products based on Flash-technology for video broadcastings. The software product for interactive multipoint web video conferences of VideoMost is selected.

VideoMost became one of crucial elements of the educational program for providing quality education of children in low-complete, territorially remote from the administrative centers of schools and also disabled children. The program VIDEOCONFERENCING product of SPIRIT company is implemented in 17 Areas of Sakha (Yakutia) Republic, providing educational institutions with interactive HD video conferences.

Project Results

Use of VideoMost helped to solve a problem of small schools, to provide individualization of the training program concerning exceptional children and to give the chance to children with limited opportunities to be connected to school lessons and to communicate with peers.
