The Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy equips with network a campus and educational buildings

The Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy and telecom operator "Дом.ru Business" jointly implemented the project on implementation in educational institution of a broad spectrum of telecommunication services.

Project Tasks

The main task of the project - the organization of high-speed Internet access for students, teachers and the staff of university to provide speed and technological effectiveness of information exchange and communication.

Project Progress

For the solution of an assigned task the high-speed Internet from "Дом.ru Business" is used. The operator solution became an alternative of corporate network of university which consists of several local networks isolated from each other excellent on architecture and not connected in uniform structure.

Within the project partners involved all complex of the telecom solutions provided by the operator in business market: high-speed Internet, Wi-Fi Hot Spot, IP video surveillance, IP telephony and cloud automatic telephone exchange.

Project Results

As a result of implementation of the project seven academic buildings and five hostels are provided with high-speed Internet access, in each of them will unroll free Wi-Fi from 100% a covering in buildings and IP video surveillance is organized. 12 clinical departments are connected to the selected Internet channel. A part of divisions of university is transferred to the IP telephony and cloud automatic telephone exchange. In total 24 objects of Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy (NNSMA) are connected to Дом.ru network.
