The Information System (IS) "Cargo 3" is intended for automation of the primary productive activity of the logistic companies for the purpose of increase in profitability of logistic transactions. This IC is focused on the following target groups of the companies:

• Transport — Logistic the Centers (TLC)
• Warehouse complexes (terminals) of storage of loads and goods
• The divisions of the companies connected with transportation of loads (production, sale, network trade, etc.)

Distinctive feature of a system is providing advanced functionality for billing and monitoring of the rendered and received services. Thus, the IC "Cargo 3" is an automated system of accounting of the provided services, their tariffings and drawing of accounts for payment and also registration and control of all production costs. A system solves the main transport and logistic objectives:

• Accounting of services with fixing of individual requirements of the customer with a possibility of operational information maintenance (interpretations to the account, operational reports about a load status, the automated notifications, etc.);
• Information support of order placement (the unified reference books codifiers, the automated calculation of cost, interpretation to the account of IT.)
• Operating control of execution of the order and monitoring of transportation (for management and the client)
• The organization of document flow between the divisions of the company participating in transportation process
