The Garant XXI retail chain is one of the largest retail chains in the Arkhangelsk region with a twenty-year history of successful work. As of July 2021, 40 food stores and 2 distribution centers owned by the company are operating. The trading network "Guarantor XXI" operates according to high quality standards and constantly strives to improve its activities.
The management of "Guarantor XXI" as part of the optimization of activities decided to automate the company's warehouse in Severodvinsk. For these purposes, the WMS software product from AXELOT was selected, and AXELOT became the executor of the project. The Guarantor XXI warehouse in Severodvinsk is high-intensity, so high system performance has become one of the main criteria for choosing WMS.
AXELOT and Guarantor XXI combine a joint project to automate the distribution center of the retail network. Arkhangelsk Then, the software product 1C"-: Logistics Warehouse Management 3," adapted to the specifics of the company, helped to cope with the difficulties caused by the expansion of the product range.
During the project, Severodvinsk fully automated all operations with goods, introduced the possibility of using a composite barcode containing extended information about commodity units, and set up file exchange between WMS from AXELOT and the company's corporate information system.
The peculiarities of the project were related to the specifics of some warehouse processes, in particular, the need to work with weight goods. To optimize the process, the procedure has been set up so that the weight of the packaging or pallet is automatically deducted when the item is weighed. The integration of WMS with weighting equipment was implemented through a web service.
The result of the implementation of WMS from AXELOT was a decrease in personnel dependence and a reduction in the number of errors in the processing of the item. The work with weight goods has been simplified, all technological processes have been unified. All information about the balances of the goods in the warehouse is now available online, in addition, it is possible to carry out inventories in the warehouse without suspending its activities. The speed of acceptance of goods increased, and the speed of assembly of orders increased - by 5-10%.

Guarantor XXI has been trading in food since 1997. As of July 2021, 40 food stores and 2 distribution centers owned by the company are operating. The trading network "Guarantor XXI" operates according to high quality standards and constantly strives to improve its activities.
The company's distribution center, located in Arkhangelsk, holds about 20,000 active items. The expansion of the product range in the absence of a warehouse automation system prompted the management of Guarantor XXI to decide on the need to implement the 1C-Logistics: Warehouse Management 3 software product.
The choice of this software solution was due to its low cost and the presence of the Guarantor XXI corporate information system based on 1C: Enterprise. AXELOT, the developer of this WMS and the leader in the market for the development and implementation of software products designed for warehouse logistics management, were involved in the implementation of the project.
AXELOT adapted the software solution to the needs of the warehouse and prepared the system for launch. After training the warehouse personnel to work with WMS, acceptance testing and final commissioning of the system were carried out. Project team representatives have integrated 1C-Logistics: Warehouse Management 3 with 1C: Trade Management. The peculiarity of integration was that in its process it was necessary to take into account the capacity of each package in order to determine the nominal amount of available goods. After the completion of the work, AXELOT specialists provided Guarantor XXI with initial support services for the implemented product.
As a result of the implementation of the project, Guarantor XXI had the opportunity to keep full records of the goods movement in its warehouse: the shelf life of products is automatically monitored, the time for carrying out warehouse operations has been reduced, the speed of product selection and accuracy of shipment has increased, and the possibility of loading goods on flights has appeared.
