About the rating of Deloitte company of Technology Fast 500 in the countries of Europe, the Middle East and Africa
Within the Technology Fast 500 program implemented by company "Deloitte Tush Tomatsu Limited" the rating of the most dynamically developing public and private companies occupied in the field of high technologies, telecommunications, entertainments and media and also ecological technologies in the countries of Europe, the Middle East and Africa is formed. Technology Fast 500 ― is the rating of the 500 most quickly developing technology companies made on the basis of growth in percentage terms in five years (from 2009 to 2013), expressed in the amount of revenue for financial year.
In order that the company could get to the rating of 500 most fast-growing companies of the sector of high technologies, it should have the patented technologies or intellectual property items, to make products using high technologies or to sell such products, making thus the significant contribution to formation of operational revenue of the company. Revenue of the company from primary activity should make not less than 50 thousand euros in a basis year and not less than 800 thousand euros in the current year. Besides, participants of rating should perform activity in the field of high technologies at least for five years and have head office in the territory of Europe, the Middle East or Africa.

The website of declarations Avito was included into the list of 500 most fast-growing companies of 2016 according to Deloitte auditing company, having become the exclusive representative of Russia in rating. In total the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list this year included the companies from 28 countries. It is about the rating made for the countries of Europe, the Middle East and EMEA.
The Avito company took 171 places with growth indicator in 621%. At the same time the average indicator in rating is 967%. The highest growth rate equals 28126%, the lowest – 212%.
It should be noted that in the rating of Deloitte Technology Fast 500 for 2015 the Russian companies were absent at all. Only one company from Russia was also included in the list of 2014: CTI took the 459th place with an indicator of height of 363%. In 2012 Russia took three positions in the list – it were the companies "ER-Telecom", "Service Plus" and "СТЭК.КОМ". In 2011 domestic vendors possessed four lines of rating – they were occupied by ER-Telecom companies, "Kaspersky Lab", "Rosservice" and "Center of financial technologies".
First place in the list was won by the Swedish company Fingerprint Cards with an indicator of height of 28126%. The company develops, makes and sells biometric technologies of the identity certificate for fingerprints.
The second place was taken by Bilgikent system integrator from Turkey with an indicator of height of 16015%. Bilgikent became the only company from the hardware sector in the top ten of rating. The Polish company Codewise which showed growth in 13052% got the third place. Codewise is engaged in software development for marketing.
Also entered Auka company from Norway with an indicator of height of 11487% and Horizontal Software from France with an indicator of 8339% into top five. Auka is engaged in creation of mobile payment services, and Horizontal Software provides cloud services like SaaS ("software as service").
Geography and specialization of the companies
France (94 companies) became the leader in the number of the companies provided in rating. It is followed by Great Britain (70), the Netherlands (54), Norway (50) and Sweden (50).
Most the enterprises which entered rating are engaged in software development: 271 companies of this profile appear in the list. At the same time they have quite low average value of growth – 362%. The highest average growth in 962% is shown by the companies from the hardware sector which take 49 positions in the list.
70 companies from the media sphere showed growth in 644%; 61 companies from the sphere of communications showed growth in 345%; 29 representatives of the medicobiological market grew on average by 347%.
In 2016 the rating was by 16 times. The companies from more than 20 countries of EMEA, including from Belgium, France, Finland, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Turkey and Great Britain participated in selection. Indicators of growth of revenue in 2012-2015 financial years became selection criterion.

The French company YMagis developing digital technologies of film production took the leading position in the rating of 500 most fast-growing companies of the countries of Europe, the Middle East and Africa from the sphere of high technologies, telecommunications, entertainments and media for 2013 ([www.deloitte.com/fast500emea Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2013}) provided by international association of Deloitte companies. The company showed impressive growth rates ― 59,096%. Ymagis made this splash in the world of the European cinema and continues to help the partners to perform transition to a digital format from a traditional format using a film in 35 mm. The French companies prevail in rating the fourth year in a row; 86 positions of rating fall to their share. Great Britain provided by 71 companies this year takes the second place; further the Netherlands with 52 companies follows.
Considering the fact that the rating of 500 most fast-growing companies of the sector of high technologies in EBVA region made by Deloitte company provides assessment of rates of stable growth of revenue for the five-year period, inclusion in it is big achievement for the company. In 2013 the rating included three Russian companies ― CTI (the 170th place), ER-Telecom (the 346th place) and "СТЭК.КОМ" (the 428th place).
In 2013 13 years from the moment of the first publication Deloitte of annual rating of 500 most fast-growing public and private companies in 24 countries of Europe are performed, the Middle East and Africa occupied in the field of high technologies, telecommunications, entertainments and media and also biomedical and ecological sciences which is formed on the basis of data on percentage growth of revenue of the companies for the last five years. This year the average growth rate of revenue of the firms included in the rating of 500 most fast-growing companies was 1,403% that is slightly lower than the last year's indicator which reached 1,549%. This year over one thousand companies participated in a research.

Top ten included two companies from France which this year dominates in rating. Israel also has wide representation in rating; in the top ten ― three companies from this country.

43% of a total quantity of the companies represent the sector of software development, the sector of Internet technologies — 22% follows further. Network technologies (15%), the sector of production of semiconductors/components/electronics (7%), biotechnology/pharmaceutics / the medical equipment (5%), ecological technologies (3%), entertainments and media (3%) complete the list of telecommunication/. Another 2% are the share of computers / the peripheral equipment.
