On November 28, 2013 the Mirapolis company reported - the hi-tech project "Automation of Educational Process", unique on complexity, in Directorate "Academy of infocommunication technologies" (DAIKT) – JSC Kazakhtelecom branch is implemented. The solution will help to synchronize training systems in 23 branches of the enterprise and at the same time to train up to 5 thousand employees.
Project Tasks
For maintenance of uniform standards of training and employee development, in 2010, within the company the separate division is created - Directorate "Academy of infocommunication technologies" is the Command center knowledge promoting increase in the professional grade of workers, development of intellectual potential and implementation of the HR policy of the company today.
To increase the volume and speed of training, to integrate all geographically scattered DAIKT branches in a single system, the management of JSC Kazakhtelecom selected the innovative solution from Mirapolis company.
Project Progress
Are involved in the processes automated by a system: educational processes in 23 branches of JSC Kazakhtelecom where the annual average quantity educational reaches actions - 350, and the annual average number of workers trained up to 5 thousand.
Advantages of system implementation of automation of training:
- Decrease in load of personnel in Directorate of "AIKT" and in regional/regional TsRP due to automation of the most labor-intensive processes when planning, carrying out training and collecting of a feedback by its results and also maintaining the uniform centralized relevant base of trainees.
- Creation of conditions for continuous increase in level of knowledge of personnel of the company due to quality improvement of information support of educational processes.
- Increase in efficiency and efficiency of dissemination of knowledge, training and control of knowledge of personnel due to use of modern means and methods of delivery of knowledge (synchronous and asynchronous remote training, formation of library of educational media resources, formation of the environment for knowledge sharing between participants of the educational environment).
- Increase in efficiency of a complex of the educational and developing resources of the company due to creation of uniform access point to all such resources.
- Increase in efficiency and reducing costs for control of knowledge of personnel due to use of modern remote testing aids and personel assessment.
- Increase in efficiency of teachers due to use in their operation of the modern automation equipment of learning processes and control of its results.
Project Results
The implemented system helps with the automatic mode (with the minimum administration or without it) to collect: a feedback from trainees about expectations from training till its beginning, opinion of listeners about trained and teachers before tests and after them and also opinion of employees and their heads about passed by employees training through several the set time frames remote from each other.
"One of the major tasks during the project was to reach compromise between the maximum automation of the considered processes on the one hand, and ease of use of a system – with another, – Larisa Sarsenova, the CEO of DAIKT noted. – Experts of Mirapolis company considered everything, even the most insignificant requirements to a system. As a result it was succeeded to create a system which will be able successfully to automate training management more than 5 thousand workers a year, on 150 subjects to internal and 50 subjects of e-learning. Our company is completely satisfied with results of work of the Mirapolis command and is going to continue in the future successful cooperation".
