On December 2, 2013 the Mirapolis company summed up the results of the large-scale project on process automation of training implemented for Non-State Educational Institution "Mikroinform". Since 2010 by means of Mirapolis technology - Mirapolis Virtual Room is trained over 2500 thousand employees of tax authorities of Russia.

Project Tasks

In 2010 the Mikroinform Non-governmental Educational Institution (NGEI) won the tender for training more than 2,500 employees of the Federal Tax Service (FTS). Large-scale work was coming: train not only the staff of FTS of Moscow, but employees of Tax administration across all Russia.

Before Non-State Educational Institution "Mikroinform" there was a difficult task: to urgently find the solution which will allow to provide training qualitatively, at the high level, but at the same time to avoid costs for direct training.

The format of the tender allowed to use remote form of education, but with the clause on the fact that the Moscow listeners will be trained in the premises which are separately selected for these purposes. The situation was aggravated by impossibility of use of a cloud solution because of weak communication channels and the impressive number of students in one local network. Conditions introduced amendments and delivered Microinform in a tough framework.

Decision-making was required to save reputation and not to suffer losses. The way out was found.

Project Progress

In 2010 the Mirapolis Virtual Room service became the only domestic solution for holding webinars allowing local installation and use in a local network on the customer's servers. Besides, service of Mirapolis company was profitable selected against the background of alternative products – setup of workers is rather simple and does not require installation of the additional software.

The first one and a half months selected for preparation of training materials. Wrote video lectures on a case of failure or impossibility of listeners of remote regions to be present at the online mode. Created instructions for training and educational and methodical complexes. All workers and educational places, without exception, carefully tested. This procedure is necessary – it minimizes failures to and during broadcastings. Consultants of Mirapolis instructed teachers concerning opportunities of the virtual room. Carried out a number of trial connections for complete adaptation of teachers. The curator of the project supported each broadcasting (that in case of force majeure to render operational technical assistance to teachers and listeners).

In 2011 the second stage assuming distance mass learning of employees of regional departments of FTS on the Internet is implemented. In each virtual class about 200 people studied. Classes were in 2-3 groups at the same time and had lecture character.

The second grade level needed ensuring high availability of service from different regions of Russia and an opportunity to be engaged in the conditions of low capacity of channels. The remote form required from a webinar platform of ensuring smooth operation at high loads.

Project Results

Conditions of the tender required to train 1300 people in Moscow and 1250 people in other regions of the Russian Federation. With the help a webinar platform of Mirapolis Virtual Room of Non-State Educational Institution "Mikroinform" executed the project in the set terms, having met the budget, and listeners showed the high level of perception of information, satisfaction with a form and quality of training.

"For 4 years use of Mirapolis Virtual Room service proved to be the reliable and suiting us on quality product using which it was succeeded to give very difficult studies in application of the general-system and application software, - Oleg Fedorovich Litvin, the deputy CEO of UTs "Microinform" noted – We hope for further productive cooperation".
