Aeroflot will place IT systems of "subsidiary" - low-cost airline in clouds

Aeroflot is going to sign the five-year contract with Ф1Софт.ру company for development of the system of automation of the enterprise based on software of 1C and receiving access to it as to service. It follows from documentation published on the website of Aeroflot in December, 2013. A system is intended for Dobrolet company - budget airline of Aeroflot which first flights are planned for spring.

With its help in Dobrolet it is going to automate office-work, accounting and tax accounting, accounting of income and personnel, payroll, financial accounting, purchase management and also accounting of the equipment and materials.

In requirements to a system it is specified that it should be unrolled on platforms of provider of services – the main and reserve. The working configuration of the solution with fixed functions of accounting, material accounting, tax accounting, accounting of personnel, payroll, automation of office-work should be ready by the end of December, 2013, and final readiness of all system modules is expected by March, 2014.

For automation of similar processes in Aeroflot the SAP software is used. Earlier in airline announced plans to use it and in subsidiary companies. The Deputy CEO of Aeroflot for ITKirill Bogdanov told TAdviser that the main criterion when choosing a system for Dobrolet was the price. "Dobrolet" is the company low-cost airline, and cost minimization for it is on the first place", - he told.

The main IT systems automating work of Dobrolet should be ready in March, 2014.

The enterprise management system of Dobrolet should be integrated with some other systems which will be created within separate projects, including the system of production planning and a booking system. Their final readiness is also expected in March, 2014.

In the project documentation to a booking system it is specified, as it should be unrolled on the platform of the contractor and be provided to Dobrolet as service. The system of production planning will also be located in data center of the contractor and will provide a possibility of remote connection of users to it.

The first of these systems will allow to keep the reference book of aircrafts, the commercial schedule and the daily plan of flights, accounting of work of flight personnel, accounting of information on costs and also to prepare the reporting and analytics. Using a booking system it will be possible to manage schedules of runs, a resource of places, rates and charges, to perform armoring of tickets, including – via the web interface and API, to process the data submitted at registration of passengers via the website, to process payments, etc.

The website of new airline which should become the main tool for sales of air tickets of Dobrolet, in turn, should be completely ready by March 1, 2014. The Alayt company entering into the British WPP group is engaged in its development. In the test mode the homepage of the website which is not completed with content earned in November, 2013.
