Moscow Industrial Bank implements an access control control system

On December 6, 2013 the BioLink Solutions company reported - Moscow Industrial Bank selected the biometric BioLink IDenium system as one of means of protecting of corporate information.

Project Results

The establishing factors when choosing the solution: a user-friendly interface, centralized operation, authorization of users in the Active Directory and compatibility with the MINB main applications.

- The bank exists since 1990, is provided practically in all regions of our country, these are more than 50 branches and additional offices or about 4 thousand employees. With such number of workers the information security is very important for us — Alexey Astakhov, the head of department of MINB bank told media. - The information security plays more and more significant role. For this reason the bank had a need for system implementation which would help to resolve a number of the sensitive issues concerning data protection.

For achievement of the due security level employees of the bank use passwords from 8-10 characters which change after a certain time frame. To users it, to put it mildly, is inconvenient therefore often passwords are transferred to any carrier (paper, the mobile phone) or are at all forgotten. The biometric IDenium system helps to solve this problem. On a fingerprint it is much more convenient and safer to perform login.
