Thecus N2310 is a network attached storage with low power consumption (5 W).

Functions

N2310 contains many useful functions. Support of the RAID mode (0, 1, and JBOD) provides the high speed and reliability of work. The web interface allows to get far off access to files from any place in the world where there is an Internet. Also there is a built-in FTP server for file sharing. The client of BitTorrent is able to download content independently, without participation of the computer, saving resources and the electric power. The Plex Media Server media server allows to transfer files on the game console Xbox 360 and different mobile devices.

Two ports USB give the chance to copy files in memory of N2310 directly from USB drives and also to connect printers to use NAS as the central network print server. Besides, thanks to support of the USB 3.0 protocol it is possible to connect additional external hard drives for high-speed data exchange and reservation of files. Function of speed copy of data from optical disks (CD, DVD and Blu-ray) in the external USB drive allows to perform archiving of important data for dlitelngo storages.

Settings

N2310 is connected to network by means of a normal LAN cable. Using the Thecus® Intelligent NAS utility any person will be able to configure the NAS for a short time. The utility also allows to configure the internal disks NAS for work in the RAID or JBOD mode. In addition the Intelligent NAS utility opens access to internal ThecusOS™ 6 operating system which allows to configure and update in details NAS and its modules.

Stream multimedia content and remote access

Network storage N2310 perfectly is suitable for a modern way of life. N2310 not only allows to get access to files through the personal protected website, but also is able to broadcast stream video both audiocontent on smartphones and tablets on the Android and IOS platforms via the Internet. Using N2310 it is very easy to exchange files – enough only to drag a torrent file in built-in the client of BitTorrent who will make all the rest. Now it is not necessary to leave the computer included on all night long for downloading of "heavy" distributions! N2310 allows to reduce costs on the electric power, thanks to the processor from AMCC company and the thought-over construction it consumes much less energy, than the majority of computers.
