On December 11, 2013 the BMP Logic company completed the first stage of optimization of key business processes of JSC Kedentransservice.
Project Progress
Within the project the landscape of processes at the top level is created, key processes of the company are in details described, optimized and regulated.
The logistic company JSC Kedentransservice (affiliated enterprise JSC TransContainer and JSC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Oil Company) passes a stage of intensive development, high-quality expansion of scales of business — and due to emergence of new types of services, and due to expansion of geography of presence.
Project Progress
Project works covered the central office JSC Kedentransservice in Astana and two key branches (Almaty, Dostyk). For project implementation the methodology and a software platform of ARIS using modern approach of the structured description of organization activity is selected.
Within process diagnostics by consultants the process map of the top level structuring activity of the enterprise and setting areas of responsibility of top managers (heads of functional units) is developed. For group of the key processes relating to blocks of sales and productions detailed modeling in a format "is carried out as is". The received descriptions can be used as an example for similar work further on other processes of the company. "Bottlenecks" are also analyzed and the recommendations about improvement of the described processes directed first of all to optimization of information exchange and increase in level of coordination between participants of processes are developed. Models "are developed for two selected key processes as should be" and process regulations are created.
Key business processes are described:
- "Management of terminal processing of loads"
- "Sales of services and execution of the order"
- "Congestion control of containers (when changing a railway track)"
- "Control of the rolling stock"
Within a series of trainings consultants provided training of the top management of JSC Kedentransservice and the working group of the project in bases of process management. Specialized training in modeling bases in the ARIS tools for business analysts is provided.

Everyone should know as at what moment it does. Methodology which we use in projects and the ARIS tools allow to make it most optimum".

The project of optimization is begun in June, 2013 and pursued the aim to lay the foundation of process culture in the company due to formation at heads and specialists of JSC Kedentransservice of core competencies in the field of business process management, creation of methodological bases for systematic identification, the description and improvement of business processes.
