On December 12, 2013 the JSC COMCOR company announced the project within which it will connect students and teachers of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas to the Internet: the capital provider became the winner of an auction on the right of rendering services in ensuring access to the Internet for users of capital university.
Project Tasks
According to terms of the contract which cost of 2.991 million rubles, the provider will organize access to Internet network in six buildings of the university on Leninsky Avenue. Capacity of the channel of Internet access using Ethernet technology should not be lower 1gbit/with with a possibility of expansion to 10 Gbps. In case of possible malfunctions or increase in load of network the operator will organize operational switching of a data stream to the reserve directions.
Besides, the contract, upon the demand of the customer, provides service of cleaning of Internet traffic in real time, protection of services against several simultaneous DDoS attacks and connection of service of television.
