Since March, 2008 the staff of Frontstep CIS company began to keep time management means of the specialized Avicom ProjectMate 6 system.
System Selection
When choosing a system, first of all, the following criteria were considered: 1. Functional completeness of a system 2. Localization (support of Russian) 3. Existence of technical support in Russia and further development of a system (release of new versions) 4. Presence at supplier company of consulting experience (staff of professional advisors and developers, successfully completed projects, customer base of the ave.) 5. Friendly user interface 6. Simplicity of mastering and subsequent use of a system. 7. Support of remote access and so forth.

Description
Using the ProjectMate 6 system having the special module of synchronization with Microsoft Project, "Frontstep CIS" is going to implement accounting of project time in the company. This work began since December, 2007 within the big internal project on implementation of budget project management. Thanks to a linking of ProjectMate and Microsoft Project the company expects to achieve not only possibilities of detailed management of project costs, but also to standardize planning process of projects, a bit later, the next step, to formalize process of maintaining the project documentation.
The reports existing in a system and also specially developed for "Frontstep CIS", will allow company management to analyze activities of departments for different criteria (project utilization of employees, observance of the internal cost budget on projects and so forth) and to make timely management decisions.
