2013
On December 19, 2013 the Nvision Group company announced project implementation of support of operation of the engineering systems of the main data processing center of the Inter RAO Group.
The audit of the systems of engineering infrastructure of DPC, including power supply systems, cold supply and fire extinguishing which is carried out in February, 2013 became a preparatory stage of the project. The analysis of a current status revealed a number of "bottlenecks" which elimination raised degree of reliability of the IT services provided to DPC. Since May, 2013 the duty shift round the clock works at an object. Engineers of NVision Group control parameters of the equipment and react to emergence of emergency situations. All malfunctions which occurred during this time quickly were eliminated and had no impact on functioning of DPC.
"The experience accumulated during creation of engineering infrastructure of DPC for different customers allows us to cope successfully and with operation of these systems. Thanks to the acquired competences and close contact with vendors even more often trust us service and consulting maintenance: in the nearest future we will start three more similar projects", – Yury Pshenichnikov, the director of a division of work with the energy companies "Nvision Group" noted.
In a work progress experts prepared the accompanying documentation: technical regulations, list of necessary component parts and supplies, diagram of maintenance inspection and agreement on the service level. Also NVision Group connected to works of vendors – the companies Rittal, Emerson and APC whose equipment is the center of engineering infrastructure DPC.
2014
At the end of 2014 specialists of NVision Group upgraded a data processing center of the Inter RAO Group, increased its reliability and fault tolerance. All works were performed in the "hot" mode, without breaks in providing services.
Upgrade affected the key engineering systems of DPC: conditioning, power supply and fire extinguishing. In particular, specialists updated logic of the power supply network, worked configuration of blocks of air exchange and developed original construction of "a cold corridor" of the machine hall. The new equipment – distribution frames, rechargeable batteries, precision conditioners, etc. – increased fault tolerance of data center, having provided the maximum availability of information systems and business applications.
"For us was basic that during upgrade the DPC continued to work in mode 24х7, without interrupting business processes of the company. Other important point – to provide full redundancy of all components of the engineering systems, "having entered" the new equipment in the available premises. Having fulfilled all these requirements, the command of NVision Group successfully protected the concept before our experts", – Altukhov Dmitry, the director of information technology of JSC Inter RAO notes.
