Project Tasks

Main task of the project: replace an obsolete equipment and organize the system of corporate communication which will connect all branches of the company using the IP telephony. Such solution helps to resolve quickly many issues and most effectively to coordinate network functioning.

Project Progress

Telecommunication equipment of Panasonic was taken as a technology basis of the project. The central element of a new telephone system - the KX-NS1000 IP PBX. KX-NS1000 has capacity up to 1000 internal subscribers, the fax server and the built-in functions of Unified Communications (UC). One of the main advantages of the new IP platform - a connectivity of model of the previous lines of automatic telephone exchange of Panasonic to it that allows to integrate traditional and the IP telephony.

The new IP PBX of Panasonic integrates in a single network up to 16 KX-NS1000 with a possibility of the central administration from one point. The single telephone network based on KX-NS1000 has high fault tolerance thanks to reservation of elements of a system.

In the project all systems capabilities are used. At the central office - an installation site of the Panasonic KX-NS1000 IP PBX, all types of communication are used: connection on digital lines of PRI, on IP network (under the SIP protocol and H.323) for routing of outgoing calls and contact with the IP PBX in branches, analog lines.

As IP devices the system KX-NT321RU and KX-NT343RU IP phones are selected. The model of Panasonic of automatic telephone exchange KX-TD500 set 10 years ago was also used in the project. The outdated automatic telephone exchange of KX-TD500 was mounted in the adjoining office building as carrying out of analog number capacity and joined with NS1000 one channel PRI. The station has no own joint with the PSTN, the entering and outgoing calls for subscribers of KX-TD500 are performed by transit through KX-NS1000 located at the central office. In branches IP PBXs of Panasonic of the KX-TDE and KX-NCP series were placed.

Project Results

Holliday Group received a unified number plan that considerably cut down expenses on long distance calls for subscribers of corporate network in different branches. Use in the project of the automatic telephone exchange which is earlier already set at the central office allowed to save investments at upgrade of a telephone network, having increased at the same time the capacity and systems capabilities.
